People blame government for the turmoil in Shakiso

The residents of Shakiso, Southern Ethiopia, have blamed the government for causing the
students’ turmoil in Shakiso fortnight ago. A resident of the town, following the case closely,
said that people attending the discussion organised by the town’s administrators have accused
the government of having a hand in the conflicts.
Although there is a relative peace in the town, there are fears that similar problems could
happen again. On the 14th between secondary and preparatory school students in the town. Many people including
young elementary school students have been injured and the windows and buildings of many
businesses have been smashed.  On the March 15th  town has sustained a major injury while no deaths were reported. Twelve suspects are still
under police custody.   and 15th   of March, 2014, an ethnic related conflict broke out   chaos, a wealth amounting 2 million birr has been lost. A resident of the
